A highly skilled and experienced BTech fabrication and welding engineer, master class shut down and turnaround professional with experience in S4 programming in ABB robotic welding.

Jonathan holds 3 journeyman certifications in welding and fabrication with more than 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has since identified a skills gap on the continent and working on a skills development program in Zimbabwe to equip tertiary institutions, technical colleges, schools and industry accrediting centers and certifying skilled force to internationally recognized standards.

He has extensive experience in steelworks, heavy equipment, metal pipe works, quality control and assurance, client engagements and ohs compliance gained from numerous years of experience for various sectors such as mining, energy and oil and gas.

Jon’s experience in new construction and maintenance with companies such as BP, Shell, Altex Energy, Halliburton, KBR , Edmonton Exchanger, Syncrude, Cameron Coopers, CIMS, PCL, Kiewit, Ledcor to name a few stands as an asset of knowledge and experience that should be imparted to the next generation of young African builders of industry.
